My name is Dawn and, simply put, I am a bit of a geek. More to the point, I am a web developer with a love for well-designed web sites, social media and online marketing.

My introduction to Information Technology came in 1994. It was my first year of college, I found myself captivated by the World Wide Web. Back then, Google hadn’t been invented, Windows 3.1 was all the rage and the phrase “social media” was unheard of. Seems so long ago doesn’t it?
After months of browsing, and yes I admit frequenting chat rooms, I decided to teach myself HTML. At first building web sites was a hobby but through word of mouth and luck I slowly turned my passion into a career. Along the way, I’ve filled many roles and in the process learned how to replace one person’s head for another in Photoshop and manage to teach first time Windows users the difference between a left click and a right click.
Today, I work as a freelance web designer, primarily with the WordPress platform.
